QUEER VOLLEYBALL (QVB)

Queer Volley Ball started in 2003 as a way of getting Fresno's GLBT community involved in active recreation.
The games were originally held every Thursday between March and October, then expanded to include monthly Saturday games. In mid-2008 Saturday games were cancelled, due in part to hot summer weather. Thursday games have remained strong, usually with 2 nets and up to 40 players and supporters weekly
We play every Thursday at 6:30pm at Quigley Park on the corner of W. Dakota Ave and N. Teilman Ave (just west of Fruit Ave). Look for a pink net!
In 2012,
we start on April 5th and the last
game will take place on October 4th.
