QUEER VOLLEYBALL (QVB)

Queer Volley Ball started in 2003 as a way of getting Fresno's GLBT community involved in active recreation.
The games were originally held every Thursday between March and October, then expanded to include monthly Saturday games. In mid-2008 Saturday games were cancelled, due in part to hot summer weather. Thursday games have remained strong, usually with 2 nets and up to 40 players and supporters weekly
We play every Thursday at 6pm at Quigley Park on the corner of Dakota Ave and Teilman Ave (just west of Fruit Ave). Look for a pink net!
In 2010,
we start on March 18th and the last
game of 2010 will take place on October 21st.
