Upcoming Events
With the summer behind us - it's time to reconnect, discuss how school events are going and just enjoy the Fall.
Our upcoming events are listed below, please feel free to invite any
lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender families you are aware of and
if you have straight ally family members, bring them along as well.
You can either forward my email or send their info to me and I'll
update them, as well as add them to our list.
Also, please visit and join our
KLU Facebook page - feel free to add important or interesting
things you are reading or seeing, in regards to people with Kids
Like Us.
Friday, October 28 - Glow Bowling @
Fresno State's bowling alley - event will go from
6pm-8pm - $4.15 per game and $1.50 for
shoes - the bowling alley is
located at the bottom of the student union, behind the food court
Saturday, October 29 - Come watch the
Pooch Parade and Canine Carnival - 1-5pm
in the Tower District, behind the Tower Theatre - meet at
Livingstone's patio, at 1pm, for drinks and pizza, before we head
over for the events
Saturday, November 5 - tailgate with
KLU at Bulldog Stadium from 430pm until game
starts at 730pm - tailgate location TBA, tickets are $18 a
piece, if you'd like tickets, please let Robin know by November 1
- you do not have to go to the game to come to the tailgate
Sunday, November 6 - Women's Soccer at
Fresno State - while the kids enjoy watching a soccer game together,
parent's meet-up to discuss upcoming KLU events for the new year - Time
TBA, tournament tickets for kids $10, adults $15 - good for
games during the Nov 3, 4 & 6 tournament (so if you want to go for
the entire tournament, great, just make sure to join us on Sunday)
