What is Gray Alliance?

Gray Alliance is a non-profit group of seniors ranging from 50 & up. You do not have to be exactly 50 or 100 years of age to join us. Membership is currently over 50 members and constantly growing.

Why Gray Alliance?

A casual informal way of Senior gays & lesbians to meet & share conversation, ideas, & lots more. No one is ever obligated to attend all functions. They are encouraged to attend at their convenience, as their own schedules will allow. We attend functions to have fun, make and be with friends and family!

What does Gray Alliance do?

Gray Alliance people have a monthly dinner out in the local Fresno area. We also meeet monthly on last Sundays at 2pm at First Congregational Church of Fresno, 2131 N Van Ness Blvd, in the Fireside Room for "Games and Snacks". Gray Alliance also puts out a monthly newsletter listing the locations of the dinners, member birthdays, photos of the previous month’s events as well as other interesting tidbits of information.

See Calendar below or read NewsLink for upcoming activities, or contact the Facilitator.

How much is the membership fee?

“ZERO” There is NO membership fee to join Gray Alliance. We may ask for a Bi-monthly donation to provide for our Gray Alliance mailing list. This includes postage, paper, envelopes, labels, etc. for our members that do not have a computer.

How do I contact Gray Alliance to join?

If you are interested in meeting other adult gay men & lesbians throughout the Central Valley, then all you need to do is call one of the phone numbers above.

Please Note:

Gray Alliance does not judge anyone by their level of education or income, political views, religion, single, coupled or looks. Gray Alliance maintains a respect of each other’s different views and ideas, and way of living in harmony with our society. All we expect in return are smiling faces & some pleasant hospitality from one another. Who said “being Gray & Gay is Dull?”, Believe me, within every Gray Alliance member are silver linings that are admired. We have discovered that there is a lot to learn, and very interesting conversations from one another due to life's maturity & adventures that may come with age.

Got that creative urge to make something beautiful?

Join the Gray Alliance at CW Ceramics!

CW Ceramics is proud to welcome Community Link's Gray Alliance for an afternoon of fun, fellowship and ceramics Sunday May 5th, 2013 at 1pm at 4301 North Selland Avenue Suite 104.

Where are you located? CW Ceramics is located in a large warehouse between Ashlan & Shaw Avenues off the Marty/Valentine diagonal on Selland Avenue.

Why are you not at the mall like some other ceramic studios? We make our own greenware & bisque from American clay right here in Fresno in our warehouse from our own molds. That requires more space than is affordable at the mall.

How much does it cost? Ceramics bisque pieces to paint start at $9 each plus tax. This includes paint, glaze & firing. There is no studio or sitting fee.

How does it work? First step: you pick out an item to paint. We have over 150 different items in the $9 to $10 range and hundreds more that just cost a little more. Second step: you decide what colors to paint. We offer the entire Duncan Concepts line, which are over 150 different colors to choose from for your project. Third step: you can use our sponges, brushes, patterns, stencils and pencils to create your very own individually handcrafted ceramic piece. Someone is always available to guide & assist you with your project. Fourth step: we glaze your completely dried piece; then fire it in our kilns at over 1600 degrees (step four can take up to ten days). Step five, we notify you by phone or email that your project is ready for pick-up.

CW Ceramics is owned by Patty Colucci and Cindy Williams; making it a woman, disabled veteran, family owned small business.
