To all interested persons:

There are large areas of the San Joaquin Valley (Stockton, Modesto, Turlock/Merced/Atwater, Visalia, Bakersfield) that do not get GLBT coverage in their regular printed media and are ignored by other gay publications from larger cities (SF, LA, Sacramento).

 

We at News Link are starting a project, at least 6-month long (or longer, if it's successful), to distribute our free newspaper in those cities, as well as receive news and information - and advertising - about events and issues in your areas.

 

With January 20th issue, we'll be printing 1,500 copies (up from 1,000), and increasing the size from 24 to 28 pages. NewsLink is also available on this website so the newspaper can be seen by everyone, not just the local folk.

 

We're looking for people involved in their local GLBT communities mentioned above to send us press releases, articles, features, etc. We're also looking for help distributing the paper in those areas.
